Is changing your facebook profile pic into a cartoon character supporting pedophiles?

I'm pretty sure that was just a rumor started by someone who didn't like all the cartoon characters.

No, it's not, don't worry. People who haven't even seen the Facebook group could perhaps have a picture of a cartoon animal, just because they think they are like the character at that point in time, or perhaps they reminisce of old times. You may however wish to still avoid it for a while till it blows over, and then you'll be fine and remain Compos Mentes.

Cartoon to support "child violence" makes no sense, but its fun to see peoples favorite cartoons anyway. 2: Memes spread virally, IF it were possible to track back who started it, it probably wasn't a "pedophile group". Pedophile groups hang out on Facebook? Do they have a fan page? 3. Imma smack the kid who says "Wow, he has a cartoon character from his childhood that I've probably never seen. I will message strangers out of the blue!" aren't you supposed to be 13+ to be on Facebook anyway? Are 13 year old's that stupi- oh wait, they are. Nevermind this point. 4. If everybody has cartoon characters, and IF kids are "randomly messaging people", they're less likely to talk to pedophilele since a person isn't special/interesting for changing their profile pick. 5. You aren't a pedophile, so it doesn't make what you do bad. Pedophiles drive vans, not all van drivers are pedophiles. 6. Memes spread virally. So much like "omg facebook is going to start charing a monthly fee!" type messages/fan pages, people and trolls love to spread rumors such as this they think people will copy/paste. Not to be mean or anything, but I just wanted to give few bullet points as to why this is bull.
