Why can't people search me on facebook?

When my friends and people i am not friends with try to search me in the search box, my name doesnt come up. i made my facebook 4 days ago. (sunday, july 24th) in the privacy settings, it says "Everyone" next to the search setting. why cant people search me? how can i change it?
