Can I change my facebook age to older than 18?

Right now, it says that I am under 18, which I am, but can I change my age to older than 18 without it getting suspended? For the reason, what should I write? Will I get suspended? I haven't changed it for about 2 years, but I changed it once or twice before. Can a non-mutual friend message your on facebook, if you are under 18?

Facebook only lets you change your age a certain number of times, so you probably wont be able to change your age. And on facebook, anyone of any age can message you. Weather people you aren't friends with or not can message you depends on your settings.
