Why won't Hotmail load up?

Why won't my facebook and hotmail load in?

  • when i type in the web address, facebook for example takes ages to connect and then ends up saing 'internet explorer cannot display this page' and with my hotmail can get to the sign in page and when i try and log in it comes up with the same page!! everything else seems fine...have deleted the browsing history and cookies but am now at a baffled stage. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE??

    i think it is virgin media as just i posted basically the same question because it is doing the same to me it has been doing it for the past 4 hours, im so annoyed.

im on virgin media and my facebook hasnt worked for the last 5 hours! what are virgin media up to? 1st my tv goes down cos of all this digitial takeover crap then my comp goes down!
