How can i delete myself from facebook?

How can I delete inaccessible facebook posts?

  • Ok, so I've had my facebook account for about five years. In that time I've gone from being a rather vulgar, young, night-life oriented person to being a mom and career oriented woman. In the transition many friends got deleted. So here's the problem: There are bound to be loads of really ridiculously stupid comments I've made, years ago, on the photos/walls/etc of folks I used to hang out with. And because I'm no longer 'friends' with those people, I can't access any of their information to find and delete any of my old posts. And even if I could (such is the case with a few friends who have about 8 thousand photos on their account) it'd be eons of work to scour through the pages of everyone I knew during that time to get rid of my old posts. Is there some way I can just delete everything that I ever posted prior to a certain timeframe? Say I want to delete everything I ever posted on anyone else's stuff from 2007 to 2010? Thing is, I know that deleting your account also deletes all posts you've made and that'd be the easiest and most efficient way to do it. I've already started making another account to replace this one. My reason for keeping this one (though sappy and embarrassing) is that my mother, who died last year in hospice, is attached to it still as my mother, and there are comments she made to me back when she was alive. There's also a facebook wall still for her where family and friends post meaningful memories and little notes to/about her, and if I delete this account and start a new one I'll no longer have access to that page or have her listed as my mother. I know that's ridiculous and seems highly dependent on an internet situation, but it is what it is, and that's why I'd really like to keep this account if at all possible. But I would really like to delete all my posts on other people's stuff that I made before becoming a mother, because there are things I've said and done over the years that any random person on the internet that is friends with a former friend of mine doesn't need to see.

  • Answer:

Since you have already started a new FB page. What I can recommend you do is "print screen" that post and upload it to your new FB page. And a good advantage is that, you'll have a copy of that image to keep forever :)
