How do i make my profile completely private on facebook?

How can I make my facebook profile completely private?

  • I went on my brothers account who isn't my friend and I searched myself up... People who aren't my friends and search me up can see all my likes and all my friends. the rest is private. When people search me up I don't want them to see my likes and friends. EVERYTHING is set to friends only so I'm really confused. PLZ HELP!

    Go to your "Privacy Settings" and click on "Friends Only" option, which is on the left side.. Then save it and press "View My Profile" which you will see on top of the settings. Even if u r not satisfied.. then log out and check ur profile from ur brother's account. =)

Go to privacy setting and select friends only.

It's rather hard, cause Facebook is indexed by search engines and you can be found even without logging in to Facebook on site like 1 below. Good luck)

Go set your privacy settings.

Make sure it's set to friends only for EVERYTHING. If it is, there should be no issues other than just showing your profile picture. From there, you should be okay. Call Facebook tech support if you still have issues and they can get you sorted out pretty quick. They are actually pretty good.
