Can i send a comment to all of my friends at once?

Why does facebook send my friends a message instead of posting a comment when I reply to the sms?

so I recently set up my facebook to send me texts but I have a problem. it's happened twice now. the first time it was when I posted a link and revived a text when someone commented on it. when I replied to that text. rather than posting it as a comment it send the person a message. now this also happened once when I was trying to comment on one of my friends status the same way. everything I can find on the internet says that it should comment when I reply to that text. so what's wrong here? thanks in advance!

Yea it's really starting to frustrate me like ALOT! It never did this before until like last week :/// ughhhh and nobody has an answer for it! WTF is going on......Facebook needs to get there **** together!
