How do I get facebook to tag my friends?

READ THIS!!! Whenever I'm trying to tag my friends, it only lets me tag fan pages and stuff. It won't shw any of my friends names on the list to tag them! It won't even let me tag them when I type their full FB name! And I KNOW its their name! Is this only happening to me? How do I fix this?!
