How private is your facebook account once you've deactivated it?

I deactivated an old facebook account and made a new account using the same email address as the old account?

• now i can't access my old account. what should i do? i really want both of my accounts deleted. i already deleted that new account. i just don't know what to do with the old account because i can still see that my friends can still tag me with the deactivated account.

  i did the same thing, however, after i deleted my old facebook account and create a new one with the same email address, the facebook admin didn't allow me. i wonder why it didn't happen the same to you. now for the question you laid as to how to delete both account, i think there's no reason for you to bother since you already deactivated it. your unavailability to access your old account simply means that facebook didn't recognize you anymore, and that you're no longer registered to them, XD
