Why cant I see my friends tagged photos on his wall?

on my friends profile wall, in his photos album it shows he has tagged photos but its not on his wall, but when I check it from my cell phone, I can see the tagged photos on his wall...but not on any computers..it doesnt show who tagged him or when he was tagged..any explanation?
