How to hide your facebook profile picture?

GRR. WHY can't I hide my Facebook profile picture to the public?!?

• It was perfectly f---ing fine before they screwed around with it AGAIN. Claimed to 'make privacy better' ... now there is no option to hide your profile picture from the public - gee, such and improvement. What do they think, it's rude to hide it or something?! Give me a break. I think it's rude to force us to have one there! Piece of s---.

  I couldn't agree more! I enjoyed using Facebook because it allowed me to keep in touch with the people I wanted to, WITHOUT being "found" by people I didn't. WTF????? And their reasoning is that their original mission was to reconnect people. I should be able to choose who I want to connect to and have MY peronsal info kept private! I would not be surprised if they start charging people to keep their profile private (the way the phone company does to have your phone# unlisted). Wankers!
