What happened to my Hotmail Messenger (MSN?

My MSN Messenger and Hotmail will not work but everything else does?

MSN Messenger says : "You could not sign in because of a problem with the service or with your Internet connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet. Error 81000306". Hotmail will just not load at all. It worked when I was in a different house yesterday. I have reset my router multiple times and reinstalled MSN. All the answers on the internet give instructions for a PC but I have a Mac. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
