How can i get msn for my k8ooi?

Everytime I sign into MSN I get a message saying "msnmsgr.exe - Bad Image." How do I fix it?

  • Okay, so a couple days ago I updated MSN messenger Plus...Bad idea. Ever since then everytime I sign into MSN, MSN Today comes up, I get a message, or I try to open a chat box a little warning pops up saying "msnmsgr.exe - Bad Image ... The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\msdmo.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." I've already googled it and tried to unistall EVERYTHING related to MSN. For the first day afterwards MSN worked fine, the audio just wouldn't work, but then the next day the warning returned...oh joy... I've also tried to download a virus scanner and scanned it, and removed/ quarantined all infected items to no avail... Now for the most part the warning is just incredibly aggravating, I can still use MSN fine, it's just annoying and inconvienent, and I'm wanting to get it before something else gets infected with the same thing. Any computer geniuses out there know what to do?
