How can can i connect on msn from an other website?

Why won't my MSN for Mac connect?

  • Recently, I downloaded the official Microsoft MSN for my Mac laptop. It should work, as my friends have it and it functions fine for them. However, it won't connect to my internet, even though I am receiving full signal and my internet browser is working perfectly fine. I went onto the Microsoft Q&A and found that maybe a Firewall on my computer was blocking it, because it was downloaded. I checked my Firewall settings following: System Preferences > Security > Firewall I checked the list of downloaded features that had 'Block all incoming connections' selected and MSN wasn't on that list. Just to be sure, I added it, blocked the connections then allowed ALL incoming connections, and still nothing. In short: my MSN refuses to connect to my internet. My password and email are correct and I've tried numerous different MSN accounts, and none of them can gain access either. Help?

  • Answer:

It might be because Microsoft and Apple aren't exactly best buddies. If you really can't get it to work then try downloading Skype.

Delete Microsoft Messenger for Mac. It's absolutely worthless. Either use iChat, Adium, or aMSN.
