How do I get my digital camera to work on MSN?

My laptop's camera won't work for msn.?

  • I have an Acer laptop. And it started maybe three weeks ago, that my built in webcam stopped working for msn. It works for skype, and in my default webcam program, but not for msn. I can go into my audio and video setup, and it says my webcam is fine. But if I try to activate a video call, my webcam says it's disconnected, or not working. Others CAN see that I have one, and I've reinstalled Msn once since I've discovered this problem. If you have any suggestions or solutions.. I would greatly appreciate it.

    Sounds like a bug in MSN. Not much you can do. I know the latest version has all types of problems, what you could try is getting your hands on an older version. http://filehippo.com/download_msn_messenger/ On right select anything 2009 should be good to go, but you MUST remove the one you now have before installing.
