Will updating Messenger Plus update Windows Live Messenger?

I know a new MSN is out and everything, but I absolutely hate it and refuse to upgrade. MSN is alerting me though that a new version of Messenger Plus Live is available. Would updating Messenger Plus update me to Windows Live Messenger/MSN 2011, as well? Or will it just update Messenger Plus? I don't want to say yes and then get stuck with the crappy new 2011 thing and being unable to go back, when all I wanted was for Plus to update like it said.

i hate to tell u this but you have to upgrade to the new version cusethat old one will get slower and slower and u might like the old one but thats the way it works like some people like the older versions of the WMP but they have to upgrade to the latest one everytime it comes

no. it shoudnt & yeah i hate the new msn too. if by any chance it does (which i highly doubt) then just unistall & msg me or something & i'll give u the link to download the old one.which was really hard to find.hope i helped
