Alternative msn? help?

i want to download a program that allows me log into my Hotmail account but not Windows Live Messenger, i want it to support webcams thats about it. any help on FREE programs to download on my Windows XP computer?

Unless you use software to take a picture and email it, to access your MSN contacts, through your hotmail account, you have to somehow sign into windows live messenger. If its the downloading you don't want, try the online version (Same, in browser @ webmessenger.msn.com/ ).

Wait, so you want to chat on messenger using webcam, but not log into messenger? I think for alternatives to msn there are: pidgin trillian although i dont think they support webcams.
