Why is MSN Messenger dropping my net connection?
-
I know, it sounds crazy. Admittedly we've had a lot of issues with our internet service (Charter), but for the last 4 or so months, the net has been very well behaved. Not disconnecting, not fluxuating when bandwidth is being eaten, and generally just doing what it's supposed too. Unfortunately, it seems like every time I log into MSN Messenger and use any of the features (change display name, send/recieve an I.M.) the internet disconnects and we have to reset the modem. Is there a reason for this? I usually have downloads that exceed 1mb/s and doesn't effect the connection. What could be causing this?

Answer:
i ninja lives in your modem and you need to get an 'anti-ninja' squad out there and have them remove it before he does some serious damage :S GOOD LUCK :D
