Can not fix MSN live error hr:0x8007064a?

I have msn live on my pc and when i try to use it msn prompts me to update it. When i do this the update fails due to an unknown error hr:0x8007064a. How do i fix this error? Please do not tell me about control panel and then uninstall as i have already uninstalled msn live from my pc and it still shows up when i turn my pc on which is quite strange in my opinion!!!! Is this a registry error? I have Ccleaner and it finds nothing wrong with the registry.
