  • Answer:

go into control panel and programmes and features and remove all elements of Microsoft Messenger, including sign in assistant, essentials etc. then make sure your computer is running as Administrator, you can do this by going to, control panel, user accounts, change account type. Make sure you select administrator, then re install msn. From there you shouldn't have any problems. Word of warning, msn has included an update, so now if you have a webcam you can only do video calls, and not "view webcam", this freezes people laptops, and you can only do on video call at a time. Restart your pc after you have installed msn, and all the changes should work.
