My msn wont sign me in. Why?

Recently I lost everything on my computer because my dads computer packed up. We now have a new hard drive but when I go to sign into my msn it starts to sign in and then stops and puts me back to the log in page. No troubleshoot thing comes up and my Pass and name is right. I've tried downloading msn again but still nothing. What should I do? Restart the computer maybe???
