Why did most of my contacts on MSN suddenly disappear?

MSN Messenger deleted my contacts?

  • I haven't been on MSN Messenger in a while. I decided to go on to chat with an old friend of mine who is always online. I believe last time I went one was a month an a half ago. I just got a blackberry and i installed my email into the blackberry and it asked if i wanted to import emails into my phone. I didnt look properly and said yes. Once I realized that my phonebook in my blackberry was filled with over 300 MSN email contacts I decided to delete them off my cell. I got online right now and now I only have 7 contacts on MSN. Why are the contacts deleted? I really hope they aren't because I have old school friends on that original account that ive had since 2006 that I still communicate with. Please tell me why MSN would of deleted my contacts, is there a way I can get them back? I dunno of theres a setting that's hiding them. Please help me out, it's really frustrating. Thanks in advance.

    Mine does this all the time. The only advice i can give is EVERYTIME you adde somebody write their user down in a little notebook and keep it somewhere where it wont get lost.
