How To Fix My MSN Messenger Problem?

• as some of u may know, msn messenger has been forcing us to upgrade, and it wont let us sign in and use it till we do. thats all fine and dandy but everytime i try, it goes to a 71% then says there is an error and it cant access network location %APPDATA%\. then it says the error is caused by hr:0x80070643. does anyone know how to fix this? or does anyone have a number where i can call msn and have them help me fix it. plz i use msn messenger a lot and i need to get back on it. o and P.S. i have windows vista if that helps
