Where and how can I download msn or windows live messenger?

http://download.live.com/?sku=messenger I tried it but it says page cannot be displayed. I don't know what's the problem. I have to use the old messenger and it's no fun. I tried to download an older version but it says that i have to use the newest one else won't be able to use it at all. Please help!!!
