Why does the handwriting feature stop working on msn live messenger?

  • Every time I try to draw on msn live messenger it says it couldn't send the drawing. If I draw for less then a second then it will send the picture but if I take any longer then it stops working. I've had a look around the internet but I couldn't find any solutions but I know others have had the same problem too. I'm using Vista and the latest version of msn. The handwriting feature used to work fine on my computer before I had to reformat it, but I used to have an older version of msn. I've tried reinstalling an older version of msn but it won't allow me to sign in without updating to the new one! I've tried reinstalling msn but I'm still getting the same problem. I'd like to try to solve the issue as I used to draw a lot in msn. thanks for any help anyone has.

    this used to happen to me to but with xp, i believe you have to install live journal to get it working properly, i believe that is what i had to do, but its been awhile since ive had to do it.
