Why can't I answer a friend request on Facebook?

I cant send a friend request??? WHYY ?

  • My mom wants to keep an eye on me on facebook and i need to send her a friend request. Ive had this facebook for about a year and i cant find her on the search bar and nor can she....is there sumten were doin wrong (other people can send me request and i can send request to) why cant i her a friend request???!!

    um..you can go to the find friends section and just go to your email and stuff if you have her email address in yyour account, they will automatically find you. The reason they cant find you is that they prob have a lot of people with names the same as your mom, they're not gonna give your mom special treatment: remember that, its jsut the top search to the bottom!!
