How do you uninstall msn messenger?

  • It won't let me on. It keeps 80072745 us blocking entry to my account. I've been to my control panel > pro gramme features: install > ....then there's nothing on the install page for MSN- like its never been installed. How can I uninstall it so I can reinstall it??

    Try this Click your start button / Settings / Control Panel Click add or remove programs, then choose the option for add / remove windows components on the left side and check MSN Messenger to remove. Note, you may see two services that look similar. One is Windows Messenger and the other MSN. Windows messenger can also be removed if you are getting a lot of unwanted popup boxes with the words "Messenger Service" at the top. If for any reason you cannot find MSN Messenger in the add or remove area of control panel, try the second method below for removal. Click your start button / Run / type in the following line: RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove Press OK and restart your computer.
