My MSN has added someone I don't even know?

While I was on MSN today, someone sent me a message saying that I added them and they were wondering who I was. It turns out that I did not know that person nor did they know me. She was not even from my area as far as I know. Why would my MSN account add someone that I don't even know without me finding out? Am I being hacked?

Maybe it were from long time ago? Change your password if you wanna be sure.
