Can you use your msn for anything else?

Strange MSN Messenger virus?

  • Hi guys, Last night I logged onto one of my computers; I don't use it very much, but once I logged into MSN everything was going fine until it started to open and close conversation windows with every contact on my list that was online and send them auto-messages. Once this happened I couldn't talk to anybody because of all the windows and I had to shut down MSN. I tried to remove all of MSN's programs and then reinstall the whole thing from the Microsoft website but even then it started doing the same thing. I ran some scans using Norton and some other scanners I got off the internet but they couldn't pick anything up, and when I run Task Manager I can't find any suspicious processes in the background either. Anybody have any clue as to what I can do to get rid of this pesky thing? PS: All the auto-messages run in the format of a sleazy-looking messages such as: "add [email protected] to your msn shes hot". They pretty much all have "paris" somewhere in them. Anybody else ever gotten this before?
