What is Msn messenger program error?

Can someone please help with my msn messenger?!?

• My msn messenger isn't working. It hasn't been working for over a month and i use messenger EVERY day. I use this program called Pidgin and it sucks because you can't use webcam and I want the Essential messenger. The new one but every time I try and sign in i would say error 8007007e. Nothing is helping to fix that. I have been trying for well over 12 hours to fix it. Yes i have tryed re-downloading. Yes i have tryed to restart my computer and yes i have tried to download an older version of messenger but it just says i must download the newest of msn Messenger for it to work. I seriously will be your best friend if you help me fix this. I will love you forever haha. thnx if you help!

  I had the very same problem, I'm not sure of your operating system, but mine, being Windows XP, you need to go to start menu, then my computer, click on add/remove programs.. and uninstal everything that is related to Windows LIVE.. LIVE is the problem, it's the newest Messenger, and it sucks.. after you uninstall everything except windows sign in assistant, go to download.com and download an older version of MSN try 7.1.
