How can I make it so people cant see that I have a webcam on msn?

I have a webcam built into my laptop so I cant just unplug it and people constantly ask me to do webcam or a video call but I really dont want to so they bug me about it! How do I make it so people cant see that I got a webcam!!

Why not just turn off the webcam? There's nothing on your computer that requires the camera to be on all the time. That would be just like saying you can't turn the volume off, blank the screen, or any number of other options that YOU CONTROL. Find your webcam control software and TURN IT OFF.
