How can I save chat history with windows messenger (not MSN messnger)?

My os is windows xp and the windows messenger was installed default. How can I save chat history with this default im?

You can go to this website called Meebo and you can login from various Instant Messengers (i.e. AIM, MSN, yahoo etc) and it automatically saves it.
