Problem with sending emails with Hotmail?

Why does hotmail keep sending out 'mailbox is full: retry timeout exceeded' emails?

  • I have a Hotmail account that has two email addresses linked to it. One is my original @hotmail.co.uk address and the other is one I created about a year later with my businesses name in it e.g. [email protected] . When people email my business email, I still receive the email but the sender receives a message saying: 'This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: [email protected] mailbox is full: retry timeout exceeded' As I said earlier, I still receive the message they send, but they think that I haven't because of the above message. I don't have any problems at all with my original hotmail account. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix the problem? I'm completely clueless! Thank you

  • Answer:

Maybe the email address is incorrect or there might be a problem with the internet.
