Msn doesn't work on dell laptop. anyone know how to fix it? or download something like msn?

Hi, I have tried installing MSN on my dell laptop, and it never works when i sign in. It always comes up with troubleshoot, so I do, and then there is something wrong with the key ports? I have tried to fix it, and nothing works. Does anyone know how to fix it, or use something like MSN, with webcam features? thanks :)
