Msn video - i cant see myself from the webcam?

after downloading the latest Windows Live Messenger version (Build 14.0.8089.726), i am not able to see myself from the webcam during msn video chat? my friend can see me from her side..and i've tested my webcam is functioning ok.. what happened? please help!!!

Answer:
First I'd try re-installing the update you got. there might just be a defect in the update. if there is I'm sure they'll fix it. msn is always having trouble!! I woudn't worry too much about it.
