no, for messenger you have to download something. But if you have Facebook, you could just video chat using the Chat Rounds app - that's safe and you don't have to download anything.

Yeah. That is called eBuddy. Google it. But to download Windows Live Messenger 2011, just Google it and it will take you to the Microsoft website where you can download it safely and for free.
