What's wrong with msn hotmail?

My msn works..but my hotmail inbox which i just used says i need a new account?

  • ok, so just a few minutes ago, i sent an e-mail via microsoft outlook, then tried to get into my hotmial via msn, when i clicked the message icon on my msn, it took me to outlook, not hotmail, then i went to the msn site, and signed in from there and it told me i dont have a inbow created, with a link to create one. WTF??? ive restarted my comp, ive re-signed in, ive signed in on another comp, ive changed my outlook settings so that it SHOULDNT pop up first, but still does. WHATS GOING ON>>!!

    thank god its not just me. lol. i narrowed it down to 2 people i thought would hack it. lol You’ll get the "Sign up for Windows Live Hotmail. You're currently using another service for e-mail, but it's easy to sign up for Windows Live Hotmail” message when you are signed in using a non-Hotmail account to any Windows Live or MSN site and you clicked a link for Hotmail. To access your mailbox properly, make sure that you’re not currently signed in using a non-Hotmail account. If you’re being signed in automatically, sign out first then log in using your Windows Live Hotmail e-mail account. To do this:1. Go to www.msn.com 2. Click "Sign out." 3. Go to www.hotmail.com 4. Log in using your e-mail and password.I also suggest that you access your Windows Live Hotmail account directly at www.hotmail.com or http://mail.live.com instead of the http://home.live.com site. if not, we may have to wait this out

I feel so much better that it's not just me. I was just about in tears when I decided to try and google my problem since nothing I tried on hotmail/msn would work and it also kept saying that my supposed email address that I don't have isn't available. I've been using my email all day and then all of a sudden it tells me to refresh my page and then I'm told I don't have an inbox but all of my contacts are there. I was so scared! Hopefully MSN will fix this problem quickly and give me back all my saved emails.
