Why can't I access my email?

Why cant i access my Youtube account's verification email message?

I have created my youtube accountand it has sent me the verification email. i log into youtube and it takes me the same page which says click here to send you the verification email, when i click ithe link it says we have sent you the email, than i click My Account on the top it goes to a new page that shows Profile creating, secuty change and etc... there is no inbox in that page. i repeat there is no INBOX. PPPPPPPPPPPlease help! by the way i also have a gmail (google) account for that.

Try making a new account , it happens sometimes for some users .
