How to i upload 16:9 Widescreen videos on Youtube?

I usually download videos from some websites and upload it on youtube, but when i upload the video the size is always 640x480 4:3 ratio and there are some blackbars on the side...so i want to know how do i upload it as widescreen??....does anyone know any video converter or programs that can make the videos 16:9 WS??

Try to render your videos 640*360. That will get you the whole widescreen format.
