Is there any way I can make my youtube channel private?

Youtube channel ideas? Please helpp!:)?

• I've been thinking about making a youtube channel for a long time now. And I decided I want to! Except I can't decide what kind I want to have. I'm stuck between beauty channel and and music channel. I play guitar, piano, ukulele and mandolin. I can sing too. I also love fashion, beauty and hair. I just can't decide. I'm female and in 9th grade by the way. Also, how could I convince my mother to let me do one? I've talked about it before to my sister and she didn't like the idea too much because she didn't like the thought of people writing mean comments. I know I can handle the mean comments and everything. But there's another problem too... my mother doesn't want me to wear makeup until I'm 16 :( :P I completely respect her opinion but I don't know how I could make a beauty channel if she won't let me wear makeup... What are your guys thoughts?

  Go for the music thing. As long as all the music is your own, no one's gonna get your videos pulled for copyright (which is rampant on YouTube). And of course people will diss you, some very vulgarly, but that's anonymous internet idiots for you. Some will come (and hopefully subscribe!) because they are interested in what you're doing. Who knows? This might help you become famous one day, or at the very least, you'll have an online resume of music videos to point folks towards in the future.
