What are the best settings for uploading to YouTube?

Youtube kills frame rates?

  • I've been posting a few videos on youtube of ps3 gameplay (search for pyrotoz on youtube). I've noticed that the frame rate seems considerably worse after uploading than before (the raw video file has a perfect frame rate). I know that youtube adjusts the size of files to fit them on their servers, but I've seen similar videos on youtube with perfect frame rates. The format of the videos is MPEG and each is about 400mb in size. Is there anything I can change in settings to fix this?

Nope, that has been "known" about YouTube since they first started. They like taking good videos and turning them into crap! :)
