Making youtube videos/editing them..any ideas?

I just made a video on my computer and I want to post it to youtube but I need to edit it first (like so I am able to delete parts and add words and stuff) so I need to know how to edit videos super easily and for free preferable hehe I kinda rhymed, and like if there aren't any others then how to get imovie (imovie would be perfect because we have it at school, I just dont know how to get it) and some ideas for making a one person video that is super cool/funny (my first video was the 50 question thing and it would REALLY help if I could get ideas since I'm not used to doing youtube videos and I'm not that good at it yet lol)

Regarding your need, you can easily delete parts and add words and stuffs by using "Windows Movie makes". It will save your efforts..because it is very light, conducive and also efficient. But if you want to do it in advance mode, i think Adobe After Effects will be the best solution.
