How do you get a video you make on Windows Movie Maker onto Youtube?

Help with Windows Movie Maker and downloaded videos from YouTube?

• Hi I have an editing problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. My roommate's band played for the 'To Kill a Memory' movie wrap party back in May. Kixx Brooks, (Brooks & Dunn) was the star so he got up and played with the guys. His people filmed it and have posted it to YouTube but not in an official way, it was done by someone in his crew. Now the band wants me to make a demo for them using that video. This gig was played by the band and Kixx got up and joined them for a song and we have actually asked Brooks if he minded if we use it and he gave us the go ahead so there are no legal matters here. I have been able to download it but only in formats I can't use in Windows Movie Maker. I found some software called Media Pimp via Firefox that worked and I can now take it into Windows Movie Maker and manipulate it. But there's a problem. If I just watch the video as I downloaded it it is fine, but as soon as I put it in Windows Movie Make it craps out about halfway through, there's some kind of a bad spot in there. I thought it was just the software but if I render it I still get the bad results. Does anyone have any ideas how to remedy this or alternatives to get the video in a different format that will work?   I'd use zamzar.com which seems to not downgrade video quality too much when downloaded and converted from youtube. The program does both so you don't need to download and then convert the video from flash to .wmv format. Just go to zamzar.com Choose the URL option and paste the YT URL. Choose .wmv format for it to be converted to and give your e-mail. It will upload the file and then convert and you will get an e-mail sent to you with a link to download the file. You will be able to use that file in WMM.
