I want to make a beauty channel on youtube,help?

• heyy, so im really into makeup and hair and i want to make a youtube channel to do this. but i have a few problems, 1: i look horrible on camera 2: how do i get good lighting? bc i tested it out with a lamp and it made me look orange 3: my camera doesnt have sound when i play back the video, but it use to so, how do i get it back? 4: what would you like to see on beauty video? thankss

  1. You're going to have to suck it up, because everyone thinks like this, and there is no way you can edit your video without looking at yourself on camera. 2. You have to either find natural sunlight or a white lightbulb. I say this because, judging from your third question, your camera is a bit crappy. It SHOULD have white balance. If it does, adjust the white balance until you don't look orange. Make sure the lighting is in front of you and above, but the camera is in between you and the light source. Set the camera up so that it is at your eye level or above, and if necessary angle it down. Also, realize that audio is 100 times more important than video, but when it's a makeup video you need your video to be clear. 3. Your camera is probably broken. Sorry. Find a better one that takes at least goodish video. I'm talking a camera made for shooting video-- it doesn't have to be really expensive, it just has to work. When doing beauty videos you can't let the audio sound funky or people won't be able to hear your instructions, and the video has to be clear enough that people can see your face and the effect your tips are having. 4.
