Is there a comment limit on YouTube?

Commenting on youtube???

  • Okay, I was trying to post a comment on youtube and it brought up "Commenting Limit Exceeded" but idk what it means by that. Now, it will not let me comment on the video. I know the comment isn't too long because I only put "Why would you put that type of comment on a video...escpecially this one???" What does it mean when it says "commenting limit exceeded"? PS: Don't ask why I wanted to put that comment on a video, bc the comment that I was replying to was extremely rude to put on naked brothers band video.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, you should have to type a word or set of letters & numbers. After words you should be able to comment again.

it means you posted to many comments on videos. i think the limit is 7. after a certain time(bout 10 minutes) you'll be allowed to post more comments. this prevents spam from bots. because bots cant put in the code. just type in the code correctly to be able to post more comments.
