What is wrong with youtube?

my youtube isnt working! :( i use youtube almost everyday and it didnt let me watch ANY videos on youtube.. it says this "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player" and i clicked the link because it says get the latest flash player and i downloaded it twice and NOTHING HAPPEND! im worried that i may never e able to use youtube ever again... and if you can help please do.
