How do i edit my video to it's correct length?

  • I ve been looking around trying to find ways to get my video to it's correct length. My video is only about 7 mins and something, but in most players my video is reading at 26 mins and something. How do i edit my video and get my video back to it's correct length. I want to upload my video to youtube, but with the 26 mins i would have to split the videos in two. Why is my video showing the wrong length? Also my video file looks like this: VTS_1_01 If anyone has yahoo instant messenger can you walk me through this as im not really that fluent in all the video specifications. Thanks in advance

    I would use a file converter like zamzar.com or benderconverter.com to convert your weird file into .wmv Then I'd import it into Windows Movie Maker and adjust - you can cut the video using the split tool on the right side under the mini player and upload in parts or cut parts out.

Maybe its showing the wrong length because what ever video editor ur using is breaking down each clip..so u can edit it (kinda hard to explain). Try using maybe windows movie maker or something else. Sorry if I didnt help..but good luck :)
