How do I get more views on YouTube videos?

  • So Last year I added a video on YouTube that I made on Windows Movie Maker in like five minutes. It wasn't until about one year later that I saw that it had 40,000 views! That's good for me because usually I get about 300 views. Well I thought I could make more videos like that and maybe get a lot of views on those too! Well before I do that, I need some advice on how to get more views and comments on my videos. And how to get more subscribers to my channel.
