How come you can't load youtube videos before watching them anymore?

You used to be able to press pause and while it's paused the entire video will load so that you don't have to wait for it to buffer while watching it. Now I can't do that and I don't even want to use youtube anymore because it buffers every five seconds. I think once I started using chrome the issue started.

I'd say, Opera browser is the best for watching videos but it take lots of memory but I think its worth it.
