How do I get people to subscribe to my channel?

How can i get more people to view my channel and subscribe?

  • I have 2 channels, one of my own and one with a friend. im pretty random and the one with my friend is the more random channel! for my own channel ive had it for a while so the views for my videos are doing okay. but how can i get more subscribers?     1) Make good, quality videos. Make sure it is original content that you (or your friends) created, and not copyrighted material. 2) Email the link to your channel and best video/videos to your friends AND your family. 3) Get involved in the YouTube community. Comment on other people's videos. Reply to other people's comments. Subscribe to users who's videos you like. 4) DO NOT participate in sub4sub and do not spam or advertise yourself. The best, and most obvious, answer to this problem is to make very entertaining videos. Never advertise yourself, just provide quality content and let the views/subscribers come to you.
